For sub-$ 300 Megazoom digital camera, Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD offers a lot for the advanced amateur photographer. It’s as easy to operate as a budget point-and-shoot, but brings abundant array of settings, modes, and deception, to the experiments as easy. This package is not perfect however, as the image quality and performance does not match the function S2000HD and sets – this is the budget price.
Like most megazooms, S2000HD a bit more than the average compact camera – more cameras coat pocket, pants pocket than 1 – to 4.4 inches wide by 3.1 inches to 3 inches deep. It weighs 17.1 grams supplied with four AA alkaline batteries and card SDHC. Then that 15x f3.5-5.4-414mm 27,6 equivalent lens front. Weight is balanced, although a large handle / battery compartment, rear thumb rest, conveniently located controls, and the inclusion of optical image stabilization to do with one hand doable. Do you still want to use a tripod when you have that lens is fully extended.

On the back of 2.7-inch LCD, as well as 0.2-inch electronic viewfinder (EVF). Both of them are rude and noisy when shooting, but it is much more noticeable and distracting to the PSG. All controls and menus easily and I like it there a special button at the top to activate the last-10-human face recognition (with or without the “red eye”) and several continuous shooting range.
Mode functionality 11 variants, including program, manual, Shutter-priority (but not aperture priority), Double shot (it takes two pictures simultaneously, one with flash, 1 without), as well as to increase the fork. This last one record images at 3 1x, 1.4x, and 2 x digital zoom – trimmed to 10, 5 and 3 megapixels, respectively – with the touch of a shutter. During his nickname HD, the camera can also capture HD video clips to 15 minutes in 1280 x720 (720p), and you get full use of optical zoom (but only in the electronic image stabilization). Scene position gives access to 13 scene modes, or you can slide on Custom to create your own group settings. In general, however, I discovered that the best way to stay in the program of Auto, because it gives you control over white balance, exposure, focus, sharpness, flash strength, and the brackets (in 1 / 3, 2 / 3, or point).
Unfortunately, like many other megazooms, S200HD relatively slowly. Awakening time 1.9 seconds the first shot. The average time shot to shot in 2.4 seconds and add him to the outbreak took 2.8 seconds. Fortunately, shutter lag is an acceptable 0.5 second in bright conditions and 0.8 second in dim.
