Handling

Performance

AF function is very good – the camera focused where needed, virtually any time and with real speed, regardless of the minimum focusing distance and independent of the selected driving mode. My preference is still focused mid-point and the locks immediately at any time. Despite great efforts to deceive the system I could not induce hunting by pointing to completely empty topics. Lens Performance

Verdict
For users of bridge cameras Sony Alpha A33 Digital SLT is a definite step up the opening of the world of interchangeable lenses, including the great Carl Zeiss optics. The full APS-C sensor, it brings in a class in addition to conventional SLR cameras and the big decision will depend on whether the buyer accepted the EVF rather than a standard optical viewfinder.
