Contrast was not a huge problem this time, and the SP-590UZ balanced the sky and creatures fence quite well. We did not need to use a fill flash, but we did take advantage of the Shadow Adjust function, which was only a fantasy back-light compensation. We are not sure what’s going on in the final frame, but we can tell you what we see. First of all, the image appears almost black and white because of the matte colors. There is also a hefty amount of fringes and we can make some loud splotching on the insides of some of the can diameter to catch. At full resolution the picture is a mess, but it’s actually not bad, if reduced in size. Sensitive, irritable.

The first picture was by far our most successful night, and that, because we have the exposure is kept low. When we tried to increase the exposure of the night, we experienced the terrible effects of color splotching, in the next picture shows.
